I had another thought about why I'm not bothered by this score. I had this thought before when I entered other abstract photos, but now I'm sure of it. It's not that the photos are bad, it's just that mere mortals don't recognize my genius. ;-) |

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disapointed. Usually my scores go up over time and not down so we'll see how this one fairs.

| I am all over the place today - from 5.3 to 5.7 to 5.3 to 5.7 again. Oh well - still probably not good enough to beat Cindi. I hope she goes easy on me next week. |

i'm back! my mother had emergency surgery a couple of weeks ago so the tree challenge that i wanted to have a 100% vote/comment ratio on i ended up not finishing. expect a comment this week!
and with that in mind:

I've had a similar experience although mine keep bouncing from x.3 to x.5 and it's now back to x.3

At the current rate, this is going to be my lowest score yet. It really is a macro too, item was less then 3 inches tall and I got close.........bad subject or I have the wrong idea of macro.

Wow! I must say after browsing through all of the Abstract Macro entries, there are some incredible shots. Overall one of the best collections of entries I've seen since becoming a frequenter of DPC. Great job everyone!

Three times it's climbed close to 6 only to have some ass nugget come by and drop a 1 on it. Think this is about where it's going to end up. Not too bad, not as good as hoped. |
