The two comments are both very positive, but having voted through all images myself (giving scores from a few 4's to a single 10), I think that there are sooo many images that are too far away or too reckognizable. And a lot of pictures I simply cannot make out, and I do not consider that as a positive thing, necessarily.
If it wasn't for the rulez, I could write here already now my bet on the ribbon, one single picture that has it all! (no, not mine, my picture goes in the too reckognizable DNMC category)
By the way, with all these pictures, not a single orange peel texture shot?

Mine is really not "abstract" enough and I don't expect anything more than 5.0-5.5 (though I want more :)) |
...and as I said, "before it falls..." :)
but still inline with my expectations.

Apparently mine is neither macro nor abstract, and in fact actually sucks. :-) |

My lone comment mentioned that they couldn't tell what it was. I think I went a bit too abstract. |

How odd. I'd have thought that recognizability wouldn't really matter being as it's abstract.
Having entered this challenge I won't be voting on it, but there's a good lot of images. Well done to everyone :) |

Mine is still dropping - but the one comment I recieved was that it should be a print. So it hopefully will pass DPCprint inspection. |

Dropping steadily towards the 5.0 mark with the inevitability of a stone dropped from a tall building.

well, i've scored 21%, and it's good crop of images. how does one explain when one image gets penalised for being out of focus, yet another one, that's what makes it glorious?
ah, the subjective joys of art evaluation... :-P

hah, i don't ever shoot macro, so i think i might have not done a very good job at this one. i thought it was one of my best submissions to date, but sheesh...still sitting at a 4.3
sad times. great learning experience though. |

I'll trade scores. :-) Besides, that's three of a kind. |
