I did this silly sticker and don't want to submit it for voting because I don't think it's really universal enough for an international site. I don't want all the automatic 1s and comments about people not "getting" it, but I thought I'd share it anyway for those who, like me, have seen the road-side stands selling velvet paintings of Elvis and unicorns.

Very underwhelming response to this thread so I'm glad I pulled it, but I did want to know if anyone got it.

Very funny, but pretty visually boring. I'd have given it a 6 for humor :)

I don't get it but I'd like to know more ;)

(Not jesting after our convo in DPC Chat - just genuinely fascinated)

I'd probably give it a 5 because there's too much text. I really liked some of the submissions in both contests. I would have entered but I'm not very good at graphic design and didn't want to take a beating. :)

A velvet elvis is a trailer-home staple of design. examples

The paintings were done on velvet like material. I can remember seeing them sold in the parking lots of some gas stations growing up.. :)

Round here it seems to be lone star flags painted on bits of corrugated iron, and framed with old signposts.

Available everywhere.
