Well, I've never really taken pictures of water so if anybody has any tips please let me know! I was thinking about getting a ND filer. Has anybody ever used it on water shots?

A few extra

Nice images with good color. I left you a few comments.

Now, where in the park did you take these? I will be up there next month and haven't decided yet where to get pictures.

Hey, thanks for the comments!

I took most of these going towards Cades Cove. There is a trail half way there called laurel falls (I think thats the name). On the right going toward Cades Cove.

Some of the others we just pulled off on side of the road once we got into the park of Cades Cove.

Lets see some pictures when you get back!

Phillip

Edit: Info is on pictures

Yep, I sure have. Here is a shot of one of the exact same waterfalls that you shot in the Smokey Mountains. I used a couple of NDs to get this shot on a bright, sunny day.

Here are a couple more that were taken a little further south in the Nantahala area, also using NDs.

I especially like this next one because the tall grass is completely detailed even though it was a 4 second exposure.
