Use a texture or overlay to make a photo better.

Once again this is where everybody says. We have already done that 120 times.

Gonna need some rules on what textures we can overlay...

Do we have to take the textures ourselves or caan we download from here:

I would think any texture would work. The texture must not contain any subject matter of anykind, only texture.

Joey will win anyway. So as long as the rules allow him to do what he does, then the rest of us will just live with it. lol

What if you had a batch of textures to pick from. Say 25 or so hosted up. Then anybody could use any of those as thier texture with thier image.

I actually think I would have something to offer in this contest. I admire the work of the ones I have learned from, and if it wasn't for this sites wonderful photographers I would not be any good.

He probably won't like having a "pool" of textures as a base either.? Any ideas on how the texture part could work?

Either way, I live in redneck land... I'm sure I won't have any difficulty finding an old rusted car or discarded refrigerator to use as a texture...lol

So if we use that link as the pool of textures, then it just needs to be added to any photo of your choosing.

I don't really like this idea. It's not hard to go shoot your own texture. I like the original idea, but I think you should have to take it yourself.
