Have a look at this very talented photographer's gallery.
Pbase - Cafe Cosiness gallery
How is she giving her photos such a warm, glowing, ethereal quality. Is this just a gaussian blur layer, or a diffuse glow action, or what? I have a diffuse glow action, but the photos look nothing like that.
Where can I get an action from, to at least partly simulate this wonderful work.

I want to say she's using a warming diffusion filter on the camera.

I see a whole lot of dodging and burning. This one in particular is representative

The dissolve blending is obvious on at least one (Cafe du Soleil).

I agree, there's a lot of burning and dodging, in much of her work.
But there is also something else, and I'm battling to define it exactly. I guess it must be a whole combination of things, including saturation, b and d'ing, diffusion, and warming......but it's very effective.

Perhaps gothic glow in some configuration? Maybe a very light layer?

Just a thought but do you think she is combining images using HDR software? Some of the images have no people and she might be taking more than one picture and combining them. Then again I could be completely wrong :)

Well I just went to find some HDR images that I thought that they reminded me of but, having seen those, I don't think that these are HDR at all.

They are nice images though, no doubt.

Looks like a Gaussian Blur layer in Soft Light mode to me, plus a few other things no doubt.

why not email her, let her know how much you like her work, and ask if she would mind sharing her technique with you?
