Day 10
Day 11
I'm really busy on the weekends so I'll see what I can do for photos and comments, but it may be slim. I apologize in advance and thanks for all the comments. I have more comments on every SP for this exercise than every other photo in my portfolio.

Anyone think we should move this to another thread? This one is becoming quite annoying being broken.

Ok Day 11 cause I had to play catch up.

A new take on an old self portrait.

I took the image of the hand today. So that counts. I am not 100% happy with it but I figured it was good enough to share.

Day 12 for me.

09/15/2006 04:36:12 PM · #1355
I made a couple of editing changes to my day 12 shot. I like it better now.

Leroy, I'm not sure what you mean. I haven't seen anything odd about this thread (or any other for that matter).

Looked then went to kick myself in the ass for not moving to Austrailia. JK.

Tell your husband I am just kidding also. I don't want him mad at me.

I will have to comment later though as my kid is on her puter right behind me. And in order to comment accurately I must examine the photo in great detail.

:)

Thankyou Rex. I find it interesting that people can comment on any human part. But when faced with 'in your face' bare parts...with a persons eyes watching, then people become a little shy. Please, don't misunderstand me...it is just something that has fascinated me for a long time. I think I am a little weird in the way that I study peoples reactions to different events or circumstances. Maybe I just think too much and am always trying to work things out. I suppose that's the Scorpio in me.

Commented, Judi. :-)

And an aside - pardon the slight interruption...

I can sort of understand not wanting a child to see a picture of people not wearing clothes, and possibly not opening such a picture while at work, but I'm not entirely understanding of why people, particularly in this country (good ol' US of A) have such a complex about nudity. 99% of us don't look as good as Judi with our clothes off, granted, but what's so uncomfortable about unclothed? I honestly think if we simply accepted nudity as a fact of life and not something about which to be ashamed or embarassed, we could shut down half the porno rings. Well, maybe not, but at least maybe calm down the folks who have hissy fits if a breast, god forbid, somehow appears in public!

I now return you to your regularly scheduled postings and commenting.

Melathia...your comment on my SP said everything. Damion hated photos...and it has taken me many years to get him to feel comfortable in front of the camera. But slowly he is becoming more accomodating. Most of my images of him are not close up or if they are(the Kiss image) then he is masked. So this is a very daring style for him. Also...as I said in the about...I am not nude. I am wearing a 'G'. So really this image shows a lot less than others on this site and yet I did the right thing and put a warning image over the top of my PS in this thread.

Also..I agree about some people wanting to protect their children...I respect others wishes. :)

I took shots in the bubblebath which turned out terribly (the shots, not the bath). They are now nothing but a bad memory. So now I'm even farther behind and heading to the fair shortly to check out my entries and hopefully get midway shots. Maybe I'll turn the tripod my own direction while I'm at it.

Oh, and Louis, thanks for fixing that for me :)
