Most of us have a folder in our portfolios called 30 Day SP and we just post the pics here. It's the easiest way, I think.

Ok so we had the discussion about people and thier body image. I used a pic from yesterday since I spent tonight workign on my sub-par far side shot. well the pic wasn't very good so I used the liquify tool to fix some of my short comings, you know bigger muscles, bigger brain well just made alot of things bigger. warning this will shock some of the more moral:)

Some midly uninteresting points about my 30 day challenge so far:

All but one shot was done with my 50mm 1.4 lens (The jump shot was done with fisheye cause my studio isn't very large).

I wanted to do this whole challenge in-studio on black... but my black paper has now run out and the last couple of shots are done with the last bit of black paper retaped to the roll after it came unglued (thus the wrinkles). Until I buy more black, the rest of the challenge will be on various bgs. [The 'colored' bg images are all done with colored gel over a light directed onto the black bg]

I've NEVER shown an image of myself here that didn't includ a LOT of PS work. I'm not beautiful, but I'm good with PS. Liquify is my friend!

I browse catalogs & magazines to get posing/lighting ideas.

I have a new-ish boyfriend who sees my pics, so have been going out of my way to take the most flattering shots I can each day - even to the point of doing hair and make-up for a 10 minute shot.

I'm proud of how much better my lighting is now compared to the last 30-day challenge.

I've had a blast looking at you guys expressing yourselves and can't wait to see more.

Here is one I took yesterday... day 9:


and just now... day 10: (I work fast!! haha)


I just realized though that I will be on vacation as of saturday... i wont post every day, but I will still take a photo everyday and post when i get back!! :-) I'm hoping this will take away my fear of being in front of the camera!!

I think we have to kick Louis out for being just too darn good at this. Or send him over to GQ to both shoot and star in shots for the magazine.

Nah. He can stay. I like seeing what he comes up with. :-)

And does anyone want to see the pictures of what the fire ants did to my ankles this evening? Darn fire ants... You see, my lawn is quite dead, except for anywhere near pavement, where the grass is attempting to grow IN the pavement. Go figure. So I attempted to trim the edges. Apparently the fire ants ALSO like the edge of the pavement, for there were a lot of them who didn't take kindly to the edger. A few found there way clear to bite my ankles. How dare they!

But I'll not post the pictures of the fire ant bites, for my feet are fugly (one never notices just how weird-lookin' feet are until one takes a picture of them.) I do have an interesting tan on my feet from my sandals, though...
