but people are going to say when voting "what does that have to do with school days?"

Looks like monkey bars to me. ;)

I wish this challenge had come LAST week! I have the perfect shot for this challenge, but I shot it on Sunday! Dang!

Oh, I have two questions. First, can I submit more than one picture to a challenge? And second, I requested an in-depth critique of my last submission. When does that happen, and how do I access it? Oh, and one more question... I keep noticing people talk about how one person gave them a 7, and another gave them a 4 on the current scoring. How can I find that out? Is it only available to paying members?

Thanks.

Ok, I just thought of another question. Are there ever advanced editing challenges for us non-paying members? I'm sorry I'm so nosy, but I'm new to all this, and loving it!

No

The Critique Club will leave a comment on your picture sometime after voting if it gets selected. Not all pictures get critiqued in this way.

If you click the "My Home" link you can see your score. For non-members this is updated once an hour. Paying member can update this on request and can thus see the change a single vote has and work out what the actual vote was.

I'm in, 15th entry in Chemistry.

Heres a thought for chemistry. Combine baking soda and vinegar. See what happens. Once you get the reaction, combine it with a creative way to present it, and you may have a winner.
What about rock candy? That is chemical. What about crystal rocks? that is a chemical reaction. Oh yeh, and lighting up a camp stove with propane that has been sitting in it for 5 years. Just stand back and put your camera on burst mode.
And here is a good one. Take chlorine and add water to it. Now that is an EXPLOSION
Can you tell I like chemistry? I got a million of them.

People here suffered serious injuries when meddling with chlorine and water, way back 30 years ago, the day I was born, it was on the front page of the local paper.

I was being facetious. We just had an explosion two years ago. A pool company named Namco had an accident with chlorine and water. Had to shut the entire area down for about 6 hours. They had to evacuate and everything. Just not sure if you take only a few drops of chlorine and a drop of water, if it would make just a little one. Not that I plan on trying it.

Well that's a relief. I had in mind to improve on my fire entry, burning gunpowder, as a chemical reaction to heat, but one of my mates, studying chemistry at Uni, gave me a better and safer idea.

Woo hoo! Just entered my Chemistry shot. I like it too. People are getting all fancy-shmancy with their thinking, but they'll smack themselves on the head when they see mine...

Ready to enter the Geometry Challenge.... nothing related to school, but a real Geometry shot. It's probably going to be voted down... but I like my picture and I decided to go ahead with it anyway.

I have two shots one without relation with the school and another yes. I choose the first because thinking to us well perhaps school days its only for avoid write geometry e chemistry....but there are still some hours :)

Yeah, I should have done something. There are plenty of test tubes, beakers and stuff in these schools I work at, I had an idea but really dragged my feet in doing anything. (Heck, I've taken only about twenty photos in the past week...)

I'm annoyed now. Having taken a look there's no "melting ice" entry at all. I should have entered mine. Ahh well.

Hey, I'm in the top 100 for the first time! :-P

No, but I had a feeling there would be some dry ice in some images. (none of mine, however). :-)
