My first thought was, that's what I get for choosing this over my more conventional shots. On the other hand I was more than half expecting it and considering some of the other scores posted here, I'm not feeling too bad about it right now. |

Just for fun....not an outtake! since I thought this wasn't enough tree hahaha, maybe I was wrong!
But saw a flock of goats on my way looking for my special tree and this one was eating something from an Oak tree.

| I looked for a loan tree at the weekend. I actually found quite a good sized dead log that was clearly a felled tree, but I could foresee the DNMCs rolling in and decided against it. |

I find this interesting. It's not the most exciting shot, but I was convinced it was at least going to score in the upper 5 range. It's certainly possible that some voters are considering it DNMC, but then they haven't read the description and just the challenge title. Scores will go off later after I wait for a comment or two. |

Got to go now. Maybe I should stay away for the rest of the week. I actually worked quite hard on this one. Trouble is people are always telling me my pictures are too dark (even my free study which managed 5.63). Trouble is I like them that way.

Low vote scores, maybe more than one tree is killing ya. And then folks with the low scores pissy voting for their low scores. Just some thoughts.

| I had a possible entry but decided against it. I'm finding over and over in this challenge how underexposed and how much people didn't take advantage of the advanced editing advantage. Is it just me??? |
