This week I co-host the show with three volunteer DPC members. Glen Justinen (Artyste), Laurie Gaddis (L2), and Lárus Sigurðarson (Larus) join me to discuss our favorite photos from this weeks ribbon winners as well as to discuss the controversial subject of nudity on DPC. Lastly, this episode includes part 2 of my interview last week with Ben Roberts (Konador) as we discuss his photography and style.

Nice work :) I can't stand my own voice so I only listened to half but the debate idea worked well I think.
You can use the new button to link to profiles now too!

Stupid Questions:
I just received an iPod Video for my birthday. What is the easiest way to transfer the DPC Podcast to my iPod?
Save it to the desktop then open it in itunes?
Thanks ......
....and thanks for your hard work on the podcasts :)

Jen,
Yes, you can simply download the podcast from dpcpodcast.com to your computer and load it onto your iPod. There is a download link with each podcast entry under the mini player.
For others, it works the same way as for any of your mp3's.
Anyone interested in subscribing to the DPC Podcast can simply open up iTunes and go to "Advanced | Subscribe" and enter in //www.dpcpodcast.com/podcasts/DPChallenge-TheUnofficialPodcast.xml
hit enter and you're good to go.

Not a lot of feedback on this episode. Can anyone comment on the new style? Is it an improvement, a drawback? What can be done better in the future? What do you think of the guest co-hosts, etc? |

I'm listening right now and other than some voice issues with Larus I really like the back and forth discussion.

Let me know your final opinion. I think the round table format or whatever you want to call it worked out nicely. Less of me and more of everyone else (LOL). |

I just listened to 2 & 4. Good stuff! I enjoyed listening to the both of them. My only thought was the overall volume of the voices seemed rather low; especially in contrast to the musical interudes... But again, good stuff. Keep up the good work! |

I'm still working on the levels. Overall I think the levels on episode 4 was the most even. It's a bit tricky getting it leveled out when I record different audio files at differnt times and splice it all together. Thanks for the positive feedback. I'd like to hear more about my guests. What did you think of the commentary? The voices? etc? |

I loved hearing voices to go with the names!!
I personally liked that there were multiple guests.

Very good format. Keep up the good work. Very enjoyable and It's nice to HEAR some of the users, it makes the community seem closer IMO. And again you (the host) did a great job.
ETA: I think the guest were great. It's nice to hear the voices of people that, in the past, we have only been able to see what they were saying.

The co-hosts I had for this show were an absolute pleasure to work with and I definately plan to work with them again very soon. I've also got a few others in the wings ready to give it a shot so we'll mix it up a bit from time to time. If I have on another set of hosts next week it has NOTHING to do with not being pleased with this episode. Those guys were great! I simply want to give others a shot who have offered to help me out and don't want to snub anyone. Plan to see the co-hosts from episode 4 back on the show regularly if I can help it.

Thanks Southern Gentleman for the kind words of encouragement. I definately tried to take more of a backseat on this one but still wanted to keep the show flowing. It's a real dicipline for me not to talk. LOL I know everyone is excited to hear other people too.

Podcast is good, I just don´t really like the techical quality of the part when the four of us were talking, was a constant buzzing in the backround and a couple of lost words and stuff like that but besides the sound quality, liked it :) |

This is the first full podcast I have listened to and I really enjoyed it!
I would agree with Larus' comment about the constant buzzing in the chat between the four of you but other than that it was good :o)
I'm now off to search out the Podcast with Larus......I never knew an Icelandic accent was that nice ;o)

I'm not sure what is causing the buzz. We are using skype which isn't perfect in the first place. Maybe there is a noise reducing program I can use or something. I'll have to look into that. |

sea2c, the night we had problems uploading episode 3 several people helped get us up on a server so the podcast could be made available. I think focuspoint created a place to archive the podcasts and as a backup in case something should happen again. It was great seeing everyone pull together to help us out! Thanks again! |
