This is going to be fun in Arizona. Does a cactus count? (Joshua Tree)

Cure lots of photos of trees. I wonder how many people who have a tree as the main subject but include other elements will get a DNMC comment?

I may give this one a miss.

Does a divorced tree count.

Nothing but a brave little tree.

Or another one I took at the DPC GTG in Moab. Great subject!

If only I could go to Ecuador to re-shoot this hundred year old tree

This wouldn't be DPC legal but I really love this shot! :-)

This is my favorite tree subject, but I have done it so often for challenges that I will have to find another.

I think the Joshua Tree is a variety of yucca, not cactus, but it's a classic photo subject. Don't let the DNMC zealots push you around ... : )

Does the tree need to be alive?

This challenge is a bloody conspiracy against Icelanders, everyone knows that less than 1% of Iceland is covered in trees and those barely reach over the waist of the average Icelander, this particular Icelander included...

I guess I am just going to have to improvise to take the blue ribbon in this challenge, muahahahahaha! :P

With all the wet weather you might be able to find a shoe tree ... : )

Use perspective to shoot the stumpy trees. You might have to lie down on the ground to do so, but could prove interesting. ;o)

Or take this opportunity to engage in inexpensive "aerial photography" and shoot straight down on it ...
