With digital cameras and digital recorders all over the place, why have UFO sightings gone done? You would think they'd go up. Wouldn't you? I keep looking, but not seeing anything!

Answer: because most UFOs are pretty easily explainable the more information you have. As our ability to look (and study the evidence) gets better, sightings go dooooooown.

To shoot UFOs, you need a long, fast lens and ohhh a UFO :-)

I know the answer...

there are many ships parked everywhere in the sky... we just can't see them... Our brains work with little electric charges, between nerves... so, it could be effected by special signals and can be altered. They do have that technology to tell our brain to ignore these hovering ships, and aliens (from space) and just see the sky and normal earthly things.

Even in our photos... they are there, but we are programmed no to see them.

...ooor, they just don't exist... one or another. Depends on your sanity, you could go either way... which now I command you to go get me a drink.

I know the UFO sightings have gone down, but the Orb sightings are skyrocketing!

Years ago, a good UFO sighting was a way for a person to express thier complete insanity. Now they just go on a violent shooting spree. In short, people are less crazy and more violent.

I don't get it... you telling me that people are thinking better, less crazy, and make more sense out of things... and that's why people became more violent?

If clear thinking starts a bar fight, the most sane people live in middle east :P

Sorry, this comment shows, for want of a better word -ignorance. Leaving the insanity part behind - many, many UFO sightings are reported by pilots (military and civilian), policemen, and others who are classified as credible witnesses. But why bother with the facts when you can just dimiss everything with your professional diagnosis of 'Insanity'.

Interest in UFOS in the mainstream media goes through phases. Just because I don't hear about Ireland in the media, doesn't mean it's ceased to exist.

There are more sightings, but the number of outlets people send their images to has multiplied alongside the growth in digital cameras. Where as once people only had the big newspapers to send to, now there are thousands of sites, and blogs and free papers..etc..unless you know where to look, it is hard to find. My comment wasn't aimed at you btw..I was referring to the 'sightings have gone down' comment';)
