We just had our Airedale Max put down last Sunday. That is one of the worst things I have ever had to do. We knew it was best, and everyone tells us that we did the right thing, but, there's something about putting a living creature in the car and taking him to another place to end his life. I know that time heals all wounds but I feel like my heart has been ripped from my chest. My daughter, wife, and I stayed with him till the end. As my daughter put it, "I don't want his last memory to be of us walking out the door"

I can certainly feel your pain as I am still experiencing it myself. Good luck and I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Thanks everyone... A lot of things said here that I needed to hear.

Cassie is at peace now...the process was very calm. The hurt for my wife and I is going to take some time though, I can tell.

Thanks again All
Andy
