OH BOY - I just had an idea.... glad we have a week to try and pull it off.

One more question - can we cut and paste the image that grandwazoo posted? Or do we have to take a photo of THAT photo and then cut and paste our own?

My wife was in the other room and thought I was going insane when I couldn't stop laughing. This is too funny! Steve, you're a great sport to go along with this... or did you suggest this challenge to S/C? :-)

Believe me... I wasn't my idea... my idea would be more like going to hide in a hole somwhere until people forget about it. ;)

But you guys contributed so much and helped bolster my family's spirits ith all your efforts that I figure, what the heck, you are entitled to have a little fun at my expense. :)

What might be better is prickly pear fruit smeared on my body... it is a deep purple color.

Actually, and believe me I know VERY well, the fruit is quite tasty.

I think I'll have to sit this one out, not living anywhere near a desert is a little restricting. I also don't want to end up having a challenge like this named for me.

Given your profile picture, looks to me like you could take care of yourself just fine. If you got lost you'd have fresh dingo meat (coyotes here in Arizona) every day.

As far as I know DQs will count just as normal.

Also, there has been no official statement regarding multiple images yet, so I would advise that as it stands, stick with just the one until there is an official announcement on it. The major element rule is not the same as the single exposure rule.

We can't stick him anywhere...multiple images havn't been approved yet. Which means you can only take one image and considering Steve will not be able to do a trip around to everyone during the week...many entries won't have Steve in the image. So basically this is a free study of where he 'MIGHT' be hiding.
