I'm interested in getting some feedback on my latest efforts with nudes and my bluejeans series.
Thanks for your comments

Regardless of the quality of expertise I exhibit you certainly would benefit from me being behind the lens rather than in front. ;)

Overall a good series. You have a beautiful model and some really nice shots. I'm torn on the high-key shots. On one hand, I like them, the poses are nice and the post-processing is good, but on the other, they are almost too bright.
This is my least favorite in the group
In my humble opinion, I like the first one the most.
Excellent take on a classic pose. The lighting is very well executed and your model is stunning. My only tiny nitpick would be the blue in the chair. Perhaps a different color choice would "fit" better. A pale green would compliment your models hair nicely, but that's just a very small detail (insignificant really).
Great job!!! |

I really like this one. I like how she is at an angle:
But I agree that this one of the red head is too bright.
But over all these are really nice images. I really like the posing.

that's my favorite, would make a great jeans ad. has just the right amount of negative space, is perfectly exposed, she loks as if she really likes her jeans. I'd just clone out or lighten the shadow at her tummy ;-) |

It seems like you get more processed as you go down the list in the order you posted them. My fav high key shot is the first. Her hair stands out so well with her eyes. The rest are too soft and too high key IMO, although still nice in their way.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I appreciate your time and views. Honestly I was so stoked with the lighting (I was practicing some subtractive lighting) when we got the shot with the chair that I just totally didn't pay any attention to the chair. I'm gonna fix that chair up with some fabric (thanks for the suggestions) and see if it doesn't work better for more classical poses.
Yeah, I'm working on my lighting and post-processing so the first two are more indicative of what I'm trying to do with lighting so that I don't have to post-process shots as much while the last few were intended to be softened as I was trying to accentuate a softer, more (dare I say) feminine feeling in these shots. The originals are all crisp in their focus but I may have pushed the processing past some people's taste but these were experiments for me.

it took forever to get her to lean like that.

Yeah, she was a fit young lady but with jeans that tight and having her bend a leg and lean forward to straighten her back it created a shadow that might need a little more processing attention.

Bring it on, lady. I decided I'd rather have comments and interact with the pics than to wait several weeks and tie my interest in other people's views of these shots to a number so I think I'm gonna submit a picture of my big toe for the Free Study. :P

I took the waiting boat myself. Shot on the 5th and now I'm waiting and waiting and .... well you get the picture. I hate waiting! :) Well, I'm glad you didn't wait because I enjoyed viewing them as a series anyways.
Edit:
Oh yeah, and I don't want to see your big toe. I'm sure it's nice and all but.... :)

Kevin,
I think the first 3 are spectacular. Really love them. The 4th is too washed out looking. Great job. |

I like this one too. She either loves her jeans or she's thinking, "Do these jeans make me look fat?" |

Number 2 and 6 I like the best because of the lighting.
