From my attempts at nude studies. I thought of entering it in the Free Study challenge but figured what the hell, I didn't shoot it for a challenge but as art so I decided to just display it now. More to follow from the series.

Love the lighting, very nice and the tones are wonderful. That chair needs moving slightly to the right so it is out of the shot otherwise excellent, I would like to of seen her sat on a natural wooden stool maybe

Thanks for the comments.

use a white sheet thrown over it, perhaps tied around the middle...that would make it useful for glamour shots and innocence shots, or black for the opposite reason, etc. etc. that chair is great with its shape and size...you could do tons of stuff with it and all you need is the addition of some loose sheets.

I have to agree with the girls on every aspect of this photo(except the stiff pose part) as for the chair I would just get a few slip covers(white, tan, black and a nice deep red/wine colors in various designs) that way it will be quite versitile. I think its a great chair with good lines, so keep it, but make it work for you.

The chair fabric needs a makeover. I like the lighting, but the pose seems a bit too stiff.

I think the lighting is perfect. Honestly, I really don't like the chair. I think it's too busy and totally distracts from the lovely model. Bummer, cause it is just gorgeous otherwise. Her hair, pose, everything.
