How timely. I just uploaded a couple of pre-digital train pics.

I have some of the Point of Rocks Train station and the Gaithersburg train station that I like. Do they count?

Some very neat train shots. I've always wanted to do some like the train in the snow shown above, but I've never been somewhere close enough that I could get to during a snow storm where trains would come through. But I'd love to be in the right place at the right time for something like that.

I was wishing for just a bit of snow when we rode on the CVSR in Ohio Dec 1st, for the special reason that it was a christmas special train ride... Bout the only snow we got to see was on top of the ski hills very light dusting it had all melted away... The ride was still very cool anyways and we still got to see snow a week later wich here in south carolina snow is really ice for 2 to 3 days...

Some more images of our ride on the CVSR

My entry in Motion Panning. I was a bit disappointed in the score, considering how difficult it is to get a sharp shot of the Shinkansen as it travels north at 250km/h (or whatever speed it is; fast, anyway). ;>þ
