So what??? |
I guess my thought was, this thread didn't go very well for the OP, and seems to have chased her away from here (hopefully not from photography). More comments on a dead account doesn't serve that photog very well. If she did come back today, and saw this thread, it would only be a bad memory re-lived.
I understand you can learn from the mistakes of others, but this is kind of like your mother always telling stories that you'd rather be forgotten.
Why bring it up again? There's plenty of other newbies that are here to still listen.

Off topic... I don't think her account is dead. She just entered the Zen challenge. Perhaps she is working on the photos using all of the wonderful suggestions and advice she has been given in this thread.

She's only posted in ten threads since Dec of 2004. Looks more just like someone who doesn't post very often than someone who was scared off. It's unfortunate that so many people took time to offer critiques that weren't considered helpful, though. |

Hi guys,
I'm so sorry I didn't mark the comments as helpful. I posted this to the forum and I forgot to check back to look back at all the comments. And then my membership expired so now I can't see them :(
But looking at the posts, I totally agree with what you said. All your advice makes lots of sense.
I'm SO sorry I didnt get to mark anything as helpful. I'm sure they were great comments, I feel really bad.
And you guys didnt scare me off. I just had to write my thesis and had a buttload of schoolwork to do and haven't gotten to shoot much.
THanks for all your help! I really appreciate it. |

actually I just heard a version of that saying that I think I like better..."the customer ISN'T always right, but they are the customer".
Do what you can to make the customer like the images then let it go. Learn from it but DO NOT let them get you down. Good luck.
