Well, I happened across a vintage car show today and felt the urge to snap a few photos. Any opinions or advice? This is my first time doing anything of the sort!

You managed to keep your reflection out of the chrome. That's one thing I see all the time in vintage car shots. Looks like it was a bright sunny day so your colors look great. You also took the shots at interesting angles. So with all that said I say "good job sir!" Looks like your first vintage car show photo shoot turned out well.

=)

Well, thank ya aliqui!! :o) I appreciate the feedback. And keeping out of the chrome was definitely a bit challenging. *snickers* I can see how it might be troublsome.

Great catches. I especially like your composition on the steering wheel.

Actually blow-outs in the chrome, within reason, really give car shots some snap imo. It's chrome after all, sole purpose for it is to shine like the sun. Nice photos.

We weren't talking about blowouts in the chrome. We were talking about an actual reflection of the person shooting the photo. I agree about the shine though. That *ting* shine from chrome is perfectly expected and very desirable.. so long as you don't get the tea pot effect and see the photographer in his undies shining back at you, heh.
