For this challenge do you think it would be possible to increase the 640 maximum size, because trying to fit 3 photos into this space will make them tiny, and this will reduce the overall quality of the images.

I completely agree 640 does lower the overall quality but at the same time the larger the image the more space it takes up on the site, thus slowing it down. I can see both pros and cons of a larger image size for this challenge. |

640 limit would reduce each image to 200 pixels (or 300 for a dip) which is really too small to be able to appreciate the photography.

Just when can we expect a decision on this request? I noticed there was already one submission which might put it at a disadvantage in judging if this size requirement is expanded. |

I think it would be nice if we could submit larger for this challenge, but I really don't think its necessary. 640 is small, and scaling down the images will reduce the photo's impact... but we're all under the same disadvantage... So really, no big deal.
(Should make the prints from this challenge all the more exciting!) |
