Congrats! I second the thought about "Twisted." Check my comment during the challenge on that one.

So you might have been disappointed that you did not shoot enough at the GTG but I'm sure you certainly took a lot in that you can use for this, Hanneke! Can't wait to see the result...Keeps us posted, SuperGirl! What kind of music does he do?

I don't think the "Twisted" image will suit the music very well ;-)

Hard to explain the kind of music he makes. It's typical Dutch. Not really my style at all, but I'm always in for a challenge!

Not my kind of music, but it sells like crazy I've been told by an upcoming artist. He's busy with an album too, look forward to what you create, small chance that I can refer him to you too. :)

You never heard this story, muts? Someone called her hanekke once and she used to have a profile pic with her in a supergirl costume. Super Chicken!

The shoot was today. I was very VERY nervous, and smoking / meditation / ZEN (lol) didn't help at all. I was thinking good things, but it didn't work. Elmo (my cat & friend) felt there was something going on and came sit on my lap, that was the thing that got me a bit less nervous. But not enough. I was shaking all over, my stomache hurt (felt like I had to vomit or something like that)... no fun at all.

After talking a while and telling what kind of ideas I had, Mr. Manager told me: "Do whatever you want, as long as it is Hanneke. It's your job, don't ask me what I want, because all I want is YOUR style."

That made me feel lots more confident and I knew everything was set up and ready to go.

Mr. Singer put on some make-up (thank god he knows you need makeup for nice portraits) and we shot some portraits, the basics of the idea I had in mind. He has such a nice symmetric face, that was really great.

I was surprised about what good lighting could do. I've been investing in new flashes, backgrounds, etc. That works, I can tell you!

Right now I'm gonna relax a bit, finishing the ideas in my head and after that I might work on it tonight.

I'm glad it went well and I'll keep you posted!
