EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Photographic Resource Center at Boston University seeks an enthusiastic individual to lead the 30-year-old contemporary photography organization. In addition to advancing an overall vision, the Executive Director serves the PRC’s mission through strategic planning, financial management, program administration, and general staff and operations oversight. Responsibilities include: working with the Board of Directors to secure operating and program support; coordinating regular fund-raising events; organizing Board committee activities; directing communication efforts including bi-monthly newsletter and website; preparing annual budget and quarterly reports; and supervising finances. The Executive Director serves as the primary spokesperson for the organization and reports to the Board of Directors.
Qualifications: Degree in related field and extensive cross-disciplinary knowledge of photography, including programming, administration, and development (grant writing and board/donor cultivation) in a non-profit environment. Successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and well organized—a team player with strong oral, written, and computer skills.
