Greetings...

I'm curious if anyone knows how or if Google searches pBase to find images for the images.google.com searches? I can do certain keyword searches on images.google.com and some of my pbase stuff will come up, but a majority of it won't. I'm curious if anyone knows how to make this work better.

Make sure you have titled your pages with the keywords that would be used in a google search. Also, add a meta keyword and description tag to your pages as well as in the content of the pages themselves. Google will spider those pages and the images seen there will be "associated" with those keywords. Also, Google is really big on link popularity. If you have other "portfolio" sites or the like have them link to each other and any other sites you can get a link from that is related.

ETA: I would also name your images with keywords in them. For example, if it's about UT Basketball and that's a keyword you want to be found under name it UT-basketball06.jpg or something like that.

Also, submit your pbase site to free directories like Open Directory (dmoz.org). Those can take up to 6 months to get listed but it's free and most importantly Google puts great importance on links coming from that directory and others.
