It usually takes a couple of days or so to print/ trim/ package and ship the prints. Not sure of DpcPrints send you a shipping notification or not. Then it'll take the two days to get to you from that point. |

I just had a look at the shipping info for the printer - basically print orders should ship the next business day after the order is placed, unless it is a really large print order.
Specialty items (mugs etc) typically take an addtional day so would ship two days after the order was placed.
If you ordered on Friday, with 2nd day air, it should probably arrive tomorrow.
This is actually already mentioned in the Help pages at dpcprints.com, in the frequently asked questions for buyers
How long does it take for my order to ship?
All of our orders ship within one business day!

I have a question.... I ordered prints last Thursday and when I look at my order status it says: IN PROCESS: Your order has been placed in the printing queue. It's been in the printing queue since last Friday (3 business days).
It would be nice to know what are the different steps in the ordering process in the FAQs. :-)

Sonja, your prints would have, at the latest, shipped yesterday for delivery tomorrow. I'm sorry I don't know which carrier us used for 2nd day delivery.
Kosmikkreeper, I have ordered 3 times so far and found that the IN Process status likes to hang around, indefinately. Your prints probably went out Friday.

My husband works for UPS and he said that the ordering # should begin with 1Z to be shipped through UPS. My # does not start with that so I am asuming that it is being shipped by Fed X. Darn!!! My husband will not be happy guys! ;-)

As a side note, I used to work for a company that accidentally shipped something to UPS (a client) via FedEx one time. Oops! You can bet they didn't make that mistake again. |

Time for Drew to clarify everything!
Sonja, our prints ship next business day -- so if you placed the order on Friday, it would be shipped today (unless there's some kind of exception). Your order shipped yesterday: 4/14/2003 2:25:27 PM. I'll e-mail you following this with the tracking number, as we haven't finalized that automated integration just yet.
Yanik, your order shipped 4/11/2003 10:26:42 AM via first class mail. It's coming from Georgia if that helps you figure out how long it will take to get to you.
Joanns' comment about the lingering 'in process' status is right -- we've been trying to nail this down. At first, we were having some issues receiving order status updates from the printer, but everything is working properly now... your order was just one that didn't get updated on our end. My apologies for that.
We've gotten the small kinks ironed out, and things seem to be rolling along very well now. Thanks to everyone who continues to contribute to the site, both by buying and by submitting. Let me know if I can help anymore.

Hahaha...remarkably, for all romanticized fame it's gotten, the actual Pony Express was only in service for about a year and a half!
They probably would've creased your prints, too...
