There's an eagles' nest I can see from my deck, when I'm not distracted by a humming bird. Eagles, Red-Tails, Turkey Vultures and Coyotes share our pasture. Trumpeter swans come and go again in the spring.

Alas, the coyote is wily and the grass so high, and the birds have no need and enough sky to avoid my little 200 mm. And my head will be white before I get another good shot.

Didn't you have a picture of yourself doing a snow angel out here? You've got guts with some of those critters around! ;)

yeah well had I posted the snow angel, it would scare folks away - not make them wish they were here. :P

Someday when I can afford to retire, I'm going to live near ShutterPug. I would LOVE to live in the UP.

That reminds me..we're coming up for the Labor Day bridge walk. Where do you live up there? Maybe we can hook up.

Beautiful town, but this is the result after a microburst blasted through two weeks ago!

...out at sea :) It turns dark at 7pm and you can see a clear sky even at 9pm
