 This is Elk Mountain, on the other side of our valley. Thought about entering it in "Green" but theres too many other colors competing for attention and i hate DNMC's

I'd have to agree with you on the DNMC, there are just too many anal rentents that will looking for more dominate green statements. In my book it would be a fine entry into 'Green.' There I went off on a tangent responding to your comments, but what I really wanted to say was that this is a very nice photo. It works well with the expansive foreground, but the sky is what really grabs my attention. It's an absolutely stunning and fascinating photo!

I can feel your pain on the 'Green' challenge, we just don't get those rich greens to often in Colorado & Wyoming.
