The site will be purchased by ebay, the fee will go to $3 an entry, and you will have to talk on Skype phones in order to participate. Oh ya E-Bay will also reserve the rights to use any of the images on the site for thier own personal gain.
OR
It will become //challenge.google.com and you will have to use Picasa as your editing software. |

Maybe not in a year but soon. DPChallenge will offer hosting for your website and you will be able to direct your domain name.

Oh and the membership numbers stayed the same after losing so many from California after it broke off and fell into the Ocean.

I am confident of one or more of the following:
1. A vast wasteland of soot and ash
2. crayon and justin_hewlett will have mysteriously vanished
3. People will be arguing over the use of nanotechnology being used as backgrounds
4. Transporter beams will allow us all to shoot in Iceland
5. The SC will be caught in an oil for Ribbons scandal
6. Woodies will unite and mount a hostile takeover
...oh, and the thing about the popcorn shortage.

Those west of the San Andreas fault are sliding northwards, and cannot "fall off" into the Pacific. In about 20,000 years or so the Golden Gate Bridge (if it existed) would connect somewhere in the neighborhood of Vancouver instead of Marin County.
Should the fault's action change to subductive rather than strike-slip behavior, western California would be buried under the North American Plate, but this is an unlikely scenario according to current evidence. |

3. it's already happening - be afraid, be very afraid
4. when that happens, who'd care about Iceland? I'll be going around on a shooting spree and make a portfolioof each DPC member's toilet, and make people vote for the best one
5. this year tobacco scandal, next year oil? maybe you could be right...

Can't you tell? Dp is currently going through menopause, and next year it will be through the roller coaster and finally settle into a gentler state.

there will be new branches open...

...and those branches will have their own separate challenges
there will be a civil war between branches.
ribbon colors will be different for each branches, like purple-pink-white, black-yellow-red etc.
after civil war Langdon will be the King (for real) and merge branches, and we start all over again.
