PLEASE, take the rotation of the challenges back to Saturday night instead of Sunday night... It is VERY frustrating for me to wait until Monday to look at the results, and send messages to people. It is first day of the week, and I feel pretty stressed out on Mondays.

Please... have votes end on Saturdays...

Yeah, I'm sure they'll get right on changing that. Most people use their weekend to shoot, so I doubt it.

Since when were they ever Saturdays?

Oh nevermind, I misread your "take them back" to mean back to how they used to be, rather than back 24 hours. I'm stupid :P

That's how I read it too, Ben.

I meant take "back" as in one day back... not as in "it was before" back :P

But we still can shoot over the weekend for the next challenge, which ends on Tuesdays...

Oh man, it is very frustrating for me each week... gives me blood pressure...

It's better to call in sick on Mondays anyways. ;-)

I am serious on this request... Because the whole week I wait for weekend, and need some motivation... The result days are the best days for me to be motivated, and this could be Sunday, since results will be out that day... I don't have to be worry about what's my vote now, go and check every minute (for weekend challenge) rather go out and take pictures...

If I am the only one feeling that way, then I apologize, and probably see a shrink or something.

I think there have been lots of times when I'd like to see rollover happen on a night when I didn't have to work the next day, so you aren't alone. I still stay up anyway, though, just take a nap earlier in the day to compensate! :)

maybe it should be knocked all the way back to Friday night. That way people would have the weekend to shoot, since the challenge would get announced Friday night, and they'd have all week to post-process. Plus it would spread out the challenges a little more. It's not a bad suggestion...

If you lived on the west coast, the roll over would be at 9pm. Lots of time to view the results before going to bed... of course then the results might not let you sleep very well.

IF you have an idea immediately, which I never do! But then again, I work Saturdays and usually use Sunday to shoot and process.
Personally, I'd go for midweek rollover, please? Shows how there's no way to satisfy us all :)

On the other side of the coin, Sunday night rollover allows the maximum time for planning your next shoot, a considerable benefit for those who may wish to travel to a location some distance away; leaves Saturday for shooting and Sunday for processing and submitting, basically.

Personally, it makes no difference to me; but then, I'M retired :-)

doesn't really make any difference to me either. I tend to schedule my life around dpc Ü. How about challenges every single night? Then everybody would be happy. Well, excpet maybe Langdon.

Challenges every single day: You know there are quite a few folks around here that would try to enter every single one.

Who has the time for that? I have a tough time entering one a month.

Rikki :-) Cindi would try, possibly Judi.

Maybe I should see if they can coach me on time management issues, or keep me from working so much.

You gotta be kidding. Rikki is a working man, he has a hard time getting 1-2 a week done (according to him anyway). Cindi has a job and a photography business, same goes for her. Judi I don't know about.

Now ME, on the other hand... I've entered 172 challenges in 18 months, more or less. I'd probably be fool enough to try :-)

I like the Friday idea. So, it's like Friday nights and probably Monday nights, this gives exactly half week rotation for two challenges :)

This "could" be a silent problem that no one brought up yet, but "probably" most people want.

I already got an answer from a SC saying "it always been like that"... although it doesn't mean we could vote to change it.

I strongly urge you, if you do agree with the "rotation change", rather than Sunday nights (even saying it bothers me somehow), let's vote.

...again, if majority is ok with the dates, we just move on :) I just shut up (which some might think is a good idea LOL)
