Anyone? Curious to know if anyone has ever turned a profit selling prints here.

Not made a lot in 2006 though, since I haven't uploaded any new prints for a while. I really should get round to doing that! :)

No, you're wrong. You definitely don't suck.

I checked your DPC Prints and "Colorful II" doesn't suck. Neither does "Blue Sky".

There must be some other reason why you "don't sell shit". I've never tried DPC Prints, but I haven't seen or heard of any outstanding success stories there.

Personally, I don't purchase any photographic art because I would like to increase my photographic skills to the point that I would hang my own photo art on my walls. One day....

I've sold this print locally.

I've sold 4 framed and matted at $75.00 each so far this month. I'm just getting started, but it seems promising.

I build my own frames and cut my own mattes so it's been fairly lucrative.

Well if you every get some naked chicks romping through a field of flowers with a real rainbow over head you will have, I would think, an all time best seller.

may be the problem is what you're selling. have you tried selling pictures?

I've sold 12 of these locally for $65.00, print only.

It's the only one that I have tried to sell. However, this weekend, an upscale convenience store in Miami, and a really nice art gallery in Naples have asked to see my prints to consider selling them on consignment.

What size of a print did you sell it in?

Print Sales Profit : $116.85
Other-Artist Referral Profit : $0.85
Total Profit : $117.70

Not huge, but not bad considering I don't actively advertise much.

I have much better luck buying my prints through DPCPrints and selling them on eBay at $30.00 each.

I'd guess my total profits doing that is probably around $1000, but its all centered around one image which isn't so good a plan. Heh.

I'd like very much to see that image.

So let me see if I get this...you buy the print of your image from DPC, then you sell that print through eBay?

I'd like to see that shot, too!

That's the one.

I'd say I've sold around 50 of them over the last couple years via eBay at the $30.00 price. Once I take out my costs (including shipping, fees, packaging) I make roughly $20.00 profit per print, more if I sell more than one print per eBay listing.

But it is slow going and there are times I've listed and sold nothing. So its not a slam dunk each time (though prior to this year I've nearly always sold at least 1 if I list.) but its been worthwhile so far.

I just recently tried a standard auction (instead of Buy It Now price) and the print only went for $16.00. So I won't be doing that again. Heh.

But anyway, didn't want to turn this into a selling on eBay thread.

My DPCPrint sales are good considering my lack of advertising. I may have to try and get some more floral shots in though! :)

I know you're not looking for compliments, but I just took a quick look at your available prints for sale.

Your "Orange Moon" and "The Forgotten Path" are pretty damn GOOD!!!

Can someone tell me why adult images don't show up when a customer goes to my account at DPC. They all say hidden due to adult content or whatever. So does that mean a customer has to join DPC to buy an image...?
