Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 E-mount

Hi guys. I have an appointment with a model next week to do stock photography. I want to do a whole series of "Day in the Life" type shots -- Woman brushing teeth, woman putting on make-up, woman driving car, woman on phone, etc...

I need to email my model today with a list of what she needs to bring and start gathering the things I will need, but I'm a bit stuck for ideas. I have 2 hours to fill and can probably manage as many as 40 different ideas if I'm prepared.

You guys have any ideas for day-in-the-life shots? Throw 'em at me. :)

- Drinks coffee
- Reads newspaper
- Catching the morning news on the telly

Morning Part 3
- Looks at watch (Anxious look)
- Looks at watch (Urgent Look)
- Checking her PDA/ Writing on her PDA
- Opens door (home/ office)
- Waiting at the subway
- Reading a book while she waits

Office shots
- Reading a file
- scribbling on a notepad
- "brain-storming" on a white board
- Deep in thoughts

Well, if I was a woman, the first thing I would do in the morning would be ... oh wait, that's private...hrmm...

After that I'd probably get a shower and ... ... uhm...

I dunno, thank God I'm a guy though...I value my free time.

If she is athletic looking, maybe play that up (jogging, biking, pilates, etc). To add to above--talking on the phone (happy look, sad, angry, surprised). Using a laptop (using the same expressions as on the phone). I did a shoot last month, and I had the model lying on the floor with a laptop in front of her. For one shot, I told her to look at the screen with an angry look and give it the finger. She did, and it's been selling a little. :o) Most of my stock shots are isolated on white backgrounds, but I'm trying to break away from that and do some location shots. BTW, here is the above-mentioned shot:

Love that shot, Don! Edit: Checked your link - LOVE the work-out ball - definitely gonna try some shots with one.

yeah, she's athletic, she works out 5 days a week and competes in fitness competitions....I definitely want to get some "working out" shots in the mix.

Yeah, you should DEFINITELY play up the athletic aspect. :-) You may want to do some isolated on white figure shots too. Maybe a shot of just her legs in heels, or of her back while she is flexing her muscles. Fitness is big business, so pictures like that should definitely sell
