A while ago one of my neighbors asked me to get a shot of his daughter in a parade, which I did & framed an 8x10 for him as a gift. (It turned out splendidly, even for me.) He & his wife were so taken with the shot they asked me to photograph their anniversary for them (for pay).
They asked again a couple of days ago. It's on July 25th. I have no other details, as we were all rushing about. I didn't agree, but just hemmed & hawed about being a hobbyist.
Of course I see it as a wonderful excuse to buy an external flash and one of those lightshphere doohickies.
I'm wondering if folks here have some anniversary photo examples you can post up for me. Formal or fun poses, or candids.
They've got two daughters, ~~ 16 and 12.
Thanks!
:-)

I would go an peruse engagement photos to get an idea for couple poses, and then wedge the kids in somewhere ;)
I'd also persuse the family portrait stuff.
Can't help you with examples though :(

Here are a couple of couples. Dont know if they help but feel free to peruse. I've only done two couples total and both were a lot of fun. Go for it!
FWIW, didn't use one of those "lightshphere doohickies" :). In fact they were both nat light only if i recall. This guy has some pretty cool stuff on his website This Guy

I recently shot some pics at my parents suprise 30th anniversary party. Most were just candid shots of party goers, decorations, the cake, etc. I set up a couple of shots of a toast given and them feeding each other a piece of cake, very similar to the wedding shots from their original album. My mom liked them the best. |

I only have one, and it's a wedding shot. However, you could put them in a place they enjoy going and take a shot from a little ways away.
