I'm screwing around with a lot of stuff here, but I thought I'd ask before I ran off thinking this came out well.

and

So is it overdone, underdone, etc...?

I do like the second one, however I find the blue in the first one distracting and maybe a lil o.o.f.?

Wow those pics are HUGE on my work monitor! I'll look again when I am on a color corrected monitor, on this one they look too overdone, but on a color corrected version they are probably just right.

I think the highlights are too bright on the dog. Since he appears to be the subject I'd like to se more detail in him - especially in the first pic.

(sorry for using he/him if the dog is a girl)

They look great on my new monitor! I personaly like high contrast work, so they're great for me, but i can see how people could think the blue is a bit much.... It's borderline for me. The second one is very nice though!

I like the processing. The colours are vibrant and grasp the attention of the viewer (me anyway).

They look good to me, as far as that sort of PP goes; it's not something I'd tend to do myself, but they have impact. I'd like to see you keep the bright areas under better control in the first one. They certainly are attention-grabbing :-)

I wouldn't get on your case anyways, I can't imagine who would. These are actually street dogs from Bangkok, Thailand, where I've been for the past three weeks doing some work and photography. I didn't check, but none of these dogs are spayed/neutered so its very obvious in real life as to which sex they are.

And I mean very.
