I'm in a photoshop class in college and the assignment that we are doing know is "Inside a Dream" I have drawn a blank. I want to do something neat and far out. I had an idea, but can't find any good images of goblins and orcs that would work so I need to come up with something else. If any of you creative people out there have any ideas to pass my way it would be appreciated. BTW, it might make for a good Challenge, without the editing.

I don't know Jeremy, all that I can think about is a nightmare I woke up from this morning :( Way far from a dream.
Actually, when I think of dreams, I think of misty/cloudy floating/flying type of things, reaching out for something out of reach.

Vivid dreams (or nightmares):
(1) writing an exam in a large room full of students (you can have those nightmares years after the fact)
(2) psychadelic dreams e.g., crackers growing like mushrooms under a tree (I must have been hungry)
(3) moving through the universe
(4) scenes like Alice in Wonderland e.g., you are smaller than flowers
(5) a collage of several different dreams

You assignment sounds like fun and a real challenge. I'd like to see your result.

or your DPC submission is cruelly replaced with an inferior one resulting in a less than desired score ( I actually dreamed that)

I've tried a few multiple exposures that might work well for emulating dreams. You can use the layering options in photoshop to combine images to get a dream-like feel to them.

Got a pen and paper? Gather the following:

1. 2 litre tub of 'I can't believe it's not butter' from Costco.
2. 1 large spatula.
3. Meg Ryan.

- Don't blow the budget on unnecessary clothing.
- Fly to the nearest tropical beach. Sub-tropical will suffice.
- Learn how to use the self-timer if you don't know already.

James.

I think a relatively easy and cool one to do would be flying. You could take a nice cloud shot and place yourself or someone in it.
