I took this picture on thursday during a snow storm. I used a long shutter speed. This is the first time getting it right without it being blurry. I am proud of the outtake. This has to be my favorite picture of all the pictures I have taken. What do you think?

Excellent take. Love the motion blur of the snow.
On the other hand, I am so sick and tired of the snow ... wewill have snow for the next month before it all melts away.
Great shot :) Hang it on your wall.

Lovely shot, Sonifo. Just for some contrast, I took this one today:
Larger
It was 85F (about 27C) here today, I got sunburnt while taking these...hope the snow clears up for you soon

Hi Gordon,
It is -12 degrees celsius in Toronto right now and we are buried in a horrific ice storm. So, needless to say, I hate the fact that you are shooting new blooms and that you got sunburned today while doing it.
Somewhere in there is a bit of satisfaction for all of us still fighting the last gasps of winter. We need warmth bad...

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. It is my favorite photo. I am going to order a print for myself. :-)
I have another proud moment. I took 2nd place in a dance compitition over the weekend and our group also won the award for outstanding entertainment. We were all excited.Picture of my awards
Gordon, I love the picture of the flowers. The focus is awesome. I am going to have to try that when it warms up here. Thanks for sharing.

| This would have been great for this week's Weather challenge - I really like the picture and how the snow is captured. Great lighting too. |

I was so bummed when I seen that this weeks challenge was weather. Oh well.
I also didn't get home in time to submit a picture to any of the challenges. I have to go through withdrawels all week now. My homepage looks funny without the scores. :-(
