The Texas tiger shoot group from Texas Photographer's Forum is having a summer special...if we can get 15 people to attend on July 8, the cost is only $25.00 each. Every cent of the money goes to support the animals at Pug Mark Park and the opportunity to get some AMAZING shots of these beautiful siberian tigers is just unparalleled. You can't get this close to then anywhere else that I've ever seen.

The bulk of the info about the shoot is located here on TPF's website (you'll have to register to read the thread) and the cost is normally $50.00 if you've never been, $35.00 if you're a repeat shooter, but the special is $25.00 no matter if you've been or not. You can contact the organizer through the TPF website link in this post (Tom Hicks) if you're interested.

After visiting the tigers we can go eat and maybe go somewhere else to shoot. Anyone? Anyone? :)

PS...my previous tiger shots are located in this gallery.

Where is the shoot?

All the shoot details are on the TPF website (link in original post)...the actual shoot itself is at Pug Mark Park in McKinney. Everyone meets at the Whataburger in McKinney on 75 around 6:00 am, then after breakfast there is a short caravan to the park. The shoot begins at 7:00 am. :)

Sorry, I was being lazy and not wanting to register. :) McKinney, huh? Not too far. I'd probably need to borrow a friend's camera, my p&s probably won't get me very far. Let me see what I can work out.
