| what if we had a poll every so often with about 10-15 different themes for a challenge and have everyone vote on which one they'd like to see used. |

I think every once in a great while it would be fun. I don't think it would be a good idea to do often, though. It would give everyone a head start on coming up with a challenge entry. Part of the fun of DPC is trying to come up with the ideas quickly. (Which I suck at..lol)

2 or 3 times year maybe.
perhaps sneak in a 24 hour challenge this way - let us choose 'the next challenge topic' and suddenly we got it!

Don't show the results of the poll like they do now. Just let people vote, maybe not even set a deadline for the poll completion. Keep the list of challenge ideas long enough so it would be hard for anyone to guess the outcome in advance. |
