Like all psycho photo parents, I take TONS of pics of my kids. I was processing yet another pic today of my middle boy J.P. and got to thinking about how much he's changed over the past year. I have seen him go from a shy kindergarten graduate at the end of May, 2005, to a VERY outgoing and active almost-second grader now. He is one of the silliest, goofiest, happiest, most loving kids I've ever known (even if he is mine) and he must makes me smile every time I look at his tousled hair, skinned knees, and dirty face. Here are just a few pics of him that I think best chronicle the past year...he may not appear very different physically across the series, but he sure has grown up a lot to me. :)

You know what they say ... insanity is hereditary, you get it from your kids. (though I think pointing a camera at your kid all the time might induce a little psychosis in them as well)

#5, with the bandaid across the forehead, is my favorite. :-)

#3, with its nice shallow DOF, looks pretty good too.

What a cute kid, you must be so proud.

The expression on 4 is hilarious.
