i'm correct in assuming this is a good example of negative space...right? :o)

yep, that would be a good one in my book. the bear's open arms and the eyes that are turned up invite the negative space, well done. i would've given you high marks for this.

i think for my personal submission and voting that will be an interesting one to judge: is this photo using negative space where it makes sense (as in your example) or does it look like it's used just because the challenge said so.
