Sounds like fun -- except the early, early thing :-) Sadly, I have to bow out. I have a meeting with a bride in the morning and a wedding that afternoon/evening. You all have a great time and I'm looking forward to seeing great photos from everyone!

I have high expectations of this G2G. Its ripping my heart out not being able to be there. I just checked last minute airfare prices, and they aren't to bad. $341 for the ticket, and rental car.
Anybody else that may be in the same shoes, that quote ^^^ is @ priceline.com under the make offer section. I'm pretty sure that its a standby ticket, but guarantees your arrival by midnight tonight, and your departure by midnight tomorrow.
GL guys! Cant wait to see what comes of this, make sure and post some shots for those of us who are watching from the sidelines.
Owe yeah, I am also wearing my Broncos shirt right now, which reminds me, Mile High Stadium would be a pretty cool picture if it is possible. Maybe in passing, if the light is flat or something, and theres nothing else better going on. <-(yeah right) LOL GL.

Sweet... don't forget to bring a couple layers, folks. It may be 100 or so down here, but up there? Especially with the unusual cooling we had today? Yeah, I'll be bringing a warm hoodie and some gloves.

to add to that, check the weather in Idaho springs. Then subtract 15-30 degrees to get to the top. So if Idaho Springs is supposed to be 35 degrees at 6am, well, karmas right, bring some layers.

WE'RE BACK! It was colder than expected, but there was plenty of good material and though we were all more into shooting than socializing (the cold had the biggest effect on this, I think), everyone was nice. We should all get together for lunch one weekend or something, eh? Martin took the group photo, so pester him about that. I have some messes to clean up at home and then some quick processing, but my own photos should be forthcoming!

I just got back from Colorado a few days ago. I also made the trip up to Mt. Evans but unfortunately I was in a tour van from my hotel in Denver and only had about 15 minutes at the top before we had to turn around. What an amazing place, the wildlife was very photogenic. Wish I had the chance to meet up with some of you out there but I was there for a conference for work and never really knew when I would have the chance to duck out and explore for a few hours. Looking forward to seeing everyone's photos when they get a chance to edit and upload them. I can't believe I missed the babies!

yeah man, I saw this obviously. Kinda bummed, would have been cool to run around shooting with you. Especially downtown, where I live. You did a fine job on the images.
