I just shot the most unique wedding invitation ever!

This couple is getting married at a Bed and Breakfast called Castle Creek Inn. And, true to its name, it looks a lot like a castle and is similarly decorated inside and out.

What I thought was really cool is that the couple, instead of just showing up in t-shirt and jeans for an engagement shoot, decided to "dress up". And, seeing the opportunity to combine their appearance with the castle-like environment, we played around a bit and came up with some really fun shots.

Anyway, here is the invitation they decided to use (the wording is theirs - even that aspect of it is unique):

Some individual pictures from the photo shoot are here:

And a few of the "alternative" invitation designs that I presented to them:

Very different...bet you had fun though. I love to shoot for people who are up to playing around and willing to get creative for their own photos...nice shots

Looks like a great location! They kinda look like movie stills. If that's the look they were going for I think you/they nailed it.

June 28, 2006? I hope that's not their date - very last minute!
Ball at 11AM, wedding at 4pm...backwards isn't it?

Yup, that's their wedding date. Very last minute. They called me Tuesday. We did the photo shoot wednesday night. By thursday morning I had the sample invitations posted for them to check out, and by Friday at noon I had their invitations printed. That's the fastest I've ever moved on an invitation shoot...

Wow. I hope the marriage lasts longer than the planning LOL! I had one where I got 6 weeks notice and thought that was fast.
