I've got a dilemma... what to do what to do...

I printed my kiwi-lemon photo, changed some things and printed it again. problem: the cartridge was almost empty. the colors are so-so, a bit noisy also.

I have an assesment about the photo next saturday, but I don't have the time to buy myself a new cartridge... should I use the good print, or the bad print with better geometry in the paprika thingie on the right??

good print - bad geometry

bad print - good geometry

my vote is for #2, the stem looks more real.

IMO, the first one sticks out better to me. Nice clarity. Love the pic itself! BTW, how did you do this??

it's called a stem! didn't know that, thanks! ;-)

yep, that was my idea too, but the print sucks :(

@ dolph: check the details in the first image :) (by the way, the fisrt one was edited to upload to dpc, the 2nd one wasn't. that's why the colors are better)

just curious Hanneke- why do you like the second version better?
06/14/2006 06:19:15 PM · #14
because the stem suits better with the lemon. it looks more natural, I think.

I actually really like the first one better. It looks more real to me... I think. I'm still just in awe of how awesome this is!

But, yeah, I like the 1st one better! :D

Paprika is pepper in Hungarian....could that be a pepper stem I see? The word might be similar in Dutch...I dunno... but the pics are great! I prefer the first one. The stem didn't seem to out of place until I saw the second one.

it's not a red-hot-chili-pepper, but the other one, available in red, green and yellow (and right now, available in orange (because of the world cup))

pfff this is gonna be a tough decision!

here they're called bell peppers- I grow them! (well- they are in my garden at least!)

What is out of place with a fictional fruit anyway? Go with the better print!
06/14/2006 06:51:57 PM · #20
Go with the better print. If they haven't seen the other version, they won't see anything wrong with the stem. If both prints were equal, I'm not really sure which one I'd choose anyway.

yeah Gina, I think you're right. If they don't see the 2nd, they won't see the difference ;)

and sunnie; true!

thanx guys!

Could someone else print it for you? I like number two better, just to be difficult ;)
