It improved! I tried for hours and could not figure out how to post process a shadow with out getting worse crap. Some one write a PS book about shadows, I'll buy. |

It's better than my 4.56! I finally got a comment that said that they didn't see a shadow. It's not apparent if you just glance and click on a score, but without the shadow there is nothing worthwhile in the picture. Is it too much to ask to want people to think for a second before voting and moving on? |

if it was me i am sorry, i am going to go back and look at all them again lol
i saw my scored and rolled along only looking to hurt other people- and i did leave a few questionable comments in my wake. |

Same with mine... they thought the photo was about the other elements of the picture... but its the shadows that make the shot much more than an ordinary shot.... sigh

well to those who are making those comments, do you see anything wrong with the others you are voting on? having trouble finding shadows and such?
i personally think the Shadow should be the subject- not saying its the only thing but it should be the subject not an object with some lame excuse that it happens to have a shadow. |

There were a couple I think that were entered for the sake of entering. So far out of 100o I have voted on being new here, I have already begun to see the trend where some people just post something for the sake of posting. I tend not to critique unless I can offer a way to fix it, and then I must feel that it is a genuine entry. Some are not at all related to the subject, and I just let them be. I figure they just don't care or are so lame that they didn't know not to enter the image they did. In either case they probably are not going to care if I give them feedback. |

i am pretty sure mad_brewer and Sunniee got comments from me- I won't name their titles but let me say- i did not leave a single comment on anything that i didn't vote 5 or above- and the ones i left a comment on got left because i didn't understand it but they were good photos
like bommtap said, the ones i just didnt think took the challenge seriously- well i didn't take the voting seriously and i promise i didn't bother leaving them a comment either

Well I wonder how people have been deciding to vote- no wait i have three comments, one from a hidden person, i am pretty sure i know who and the other two have been blasting me......I am still very glad i spent the time doing this and i am very happy with my photo, just not happy with the score. |

Nope, wasn't you.
My second comment also made reference to not seeing the shadow. Lesson learned: don't spend a lot of time being creative if it will not be appreciated (or perhaps even noticed). My picture isn't the greatest thing out there, but I truly believe it's much better than what I'm getting.
