John, have you sold any prints of *anything* so far? I'm gonna be real depressed if you haven't sold anything at all yet.

I have sold two prints so far... I am definitely happy with that since the DPCPrints site is brand new. :)

That's cool! -- what I'm really waiting for is my first sale to someone not a relative or current DPC member!

Maybe instead of just starting up threads like this we can have some "on-sale" galleries...either theme-based or just whatever folks want to put on sale that week...e.g. this week anyone who'd like could put their flag photos on sale for NN%-off and have them displayed in a separate gallery...

Personally, I think I may have some contributions when we set up the "bargain basement/deep discount" gallery...

After looking at the work that you have at dp prints, I imagine that there are a few people, besides myself, that feel that if your work isn't flying "off the shelves" yet, then we don't stand a chance !! (We'll wait until people are coming in droves to see your stuff!)

DP Prints is definitely awesome for a brand new site, and I don't think it will be long before the world discovers it.

Give it some time... I started out selling prints on another site that was relatively new. It took some time to get things rolling, but they DID get rolling.

I appreciate the nice comments also, but there are plenty of other photographers here that have created some work that inspires me as well :)

John's exactly right -- we're new. Right now, the only thing supporting the site is you guys. We've met a couple goals we wanted to hit before we started trying to promote the site, so hopefully things will pick up soon as we begin to do so. Again, we can really use your help on that -- any link or name-drop you can get us, we certainly appreciate. We appreciate any effort to promote the site, here and especially off-site.
