Instead of cluttering up the forums with multiple threads, I figured I'd dump a bunch of things in all at once in one thread.
I spent a week in Puerto Rico. I highly recommend it! It is a beautful island with a diverse eco-system. The hospitality was amazing, and the beer is really cheap! :) The full gallery can be seen here, but for now, here are some ones I liked. I experimented on some with some post processing treatments, so some may not be everyone's cup of tea, but that's fine. If you feel inclined to leave a comment, good or bad, please do so! I would greatly appreciate it!
I also had some SP outakes that I thought were kind of interesting. Some quick and dirty PP to see effects, but nothing serious (like straightening or clinging out the blind or stuff)
Thanks in advance!

I thought the challenge entry for the self portrait was really very good but I actually like these as well - but a big ouch re the standing on points one!
The PR shots are fascinating too and I will be looking at them in more detail in the morning - it is 00:32 here and time for bed!

Nice shots of Puerto Rico. That is one very underrated island. I've been there several times and have found some fantastic, out of the way places that aren't in the travel guides (as well as some that are).

Pidge those SP are just amazing, and did I mention Hot? Dang I dont know how you ever chose one for the challenge. Personally I think the 3rd one you posted is the best. But they all rock. Oh yeah PR looks nice too. :-)

Nope. It was taken in La Parguera which is on the southwest side of the island. They have bioluminescent bays (where if someone swims in the water they glow) and an awesome pincho place. For under four dollars, you would get a skewer of fresh fish (Mahi Mahi, marlin, Shrimp) cooked to perfection. Yum!
The bar we were at had beer (10 oz. of the local beer Medalla) for 1.25 USD!
