Spring is finally showing signs of life here.... I took this snapshot this morning:
Bleeding Hearts
Three of my four bleeding hearts are doing very well this year... I have had them for about 3 years but they have not thrived. This year, three of them are about 2 feet tall and have lots of blooms on them...

We still have a month before all the snow is gone. One month and a half before the flowers start coming out.
Nice shot Setz. I wish I was there.

Nice shot,
but spring is not yet here either. It was in the 70's yesterday and in the 30's today with some pridictions of snow.
But the baseball season is about to start
so
GO TRIBE!

Lovely shot, John! They really do look like hearts that are bleeding from that angle.
We haven't had much snow at all here in Utah. We are in for another year of drought, I'm afraid. But the crocuses are blooming!

Nice shot John! Today in Tacoma,Wa. was sunny and a springtime 60 degrees for the first time in the wettest March on record. The birds are singing and the bugs are buzzing as we dry out for at least one day. The plants on my patio are just starting to wake up and start a new season. Yahoo! |

We've had two weeks of the most outrageous sunshine in the UK. Quite bizarre - still not too late for some frosts and plenty more rain though: expect grey photos from me and my compatriots in the near future.

I love bleeding hearts! Such a unique plant. Your shot provides an amazing contrast to my bleeding hearts here in Utah this week:
Bleeding Hearts
(Please overlook the problems with the shot... it's most definitely not my greatest; I just posted it 'cause the difference in the plants is truly amazing!) |

Hehehe, yesterday in the chat room, John said he thought it might get cold, so he was afraid he was going to have to cover his bleeding hearts up. i thought maybe he was taking blankets to liberal homeless people, or something. :-)
Such a spring! We woke up yesterday to 9 inches of unexpected snowfall, more than we had any time this winter!
