Dangit, I took some shots for this today and when I got home and looked at them it became apparent that my VERY FAVORITE LENS is having focusing issues (Sigma 70-300mm DL zoom macro -- at 70mm it apparently focuses about 2 feet in front of the subject; at 300mm it seems to focus OK and the macro setting is still very sharp. Worth sending for repair? Opinions please) so I have nothing usable. I'm sorry. I'll start tomorrow.

Going to go cheer myself up looking at all your shots now.

I've posted Day 1. I live in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so I may be posting in the evening my time, well after the east coast (US) has gone to bed. I hope to keep up, so a lack of a post probably means I am still at work while many of you are at home and posting.

My 3 year old Dell (which ate a hard drive a year ago) has finally hit its last strides. I haven't rebooted it in a week now because I KNOW its on its last legs - and have been waiting for my new Dell. Well, its here... got it this evening. Now transfering about 60g of data from one HD to another before I dare upload another file to the old system. Then I'll have software to install, connections to establish, etc....

Sooooooooo wish me luck, and if all is well I can post today's pic tomorrow and tomorrow's too. :)

New Dell: 250HD That will do for a minute! :P

surprise, surprise, I actually have someting.

I don't have a solid link for anything yet, that's just my June 2006 folder, but I'll get rblanton a link when I have something set up when I get to Vancouver, probably Monday-ish.
Only a couple more hours until I'm on the road.
