How are you doing guys, i'm kinda new to this site and i was wondering what are the best steps for resizing the images you post before you put them on your portfolio. i tried a few methods at first i was just uploading the images into the site and letting the auto 460px handle it, yet now when i upload my dig rebel pics at 8mp they're eating my available memory alive, so i now go to digital photo professional and set the dimensions to 460 for the largest pixel, yet these images are looking kinda small. can anyone please let me know what their method to this problem is. thanks. |

This helps if you are using Photoshop.
Just click the learn menu at the top. Some really great stuff there.

and don't forget largest image size is 800px now, but it will also eat up your portfolio limit.

640 pixels is what you want for challenge entries, unless otherwise specifically noted. As of this week you can use 800 pixels in your portfolio pictures if want. Looks like you were just using the wrong number of pixels for resizing. |
