It's a busy week at work so it may take a bit to get to you, but I'll take the next 10 posters. As always, I don't look at other comments before I leave mine...

I didn't even know where to start. First you failed because you didn't post the thumb...

It's not in Success/Failure, but could you let me know why this did so bad, I got almost no feedback on it.

As this was the first photo that my wife helped me with (and they were her flowers, too) I would appreciate any feedback at all. Scored 5.298

Thanks

Thanks for the offer, Doc. Mine came in at 5.085. I was a bit surprised by the DNMC (or barely so) commenters, though I wouldn't quarrel with them. Just surprised me.

Thank you so much for your suggestions, I tried the changes in PS and wow... I definately should have done that. I can't thank you enough.

I guess I haven't been around dpc long enough to understand how this shot ("Success") managed to get 3 10s, 2 9's 74 6's and then at the same time 3 1's and 4 2's.
With only 2 comments (both positive) how do you get a true reading of the picture?
How is this for a thought...If you vote a 1,2 or 3 then it is manadatory that you comment. Even if it is to say "You suck" or " I just don't like it". It would be much better then the "Unknown voter" tossing you a 1 for no good reason.
If a shot is bad and needs improvement or DNMC fine - just tell me.

Thanks for the comments, Doc. Interestingly, the picture was taken in natural light, early evening, with a lot of the light being blocked by boards. Looked as though I missed some. And thanks for the tip re the saturated reds.

I'd be delighted for feedback on this image. I realise it was a rather out of the box connection for success, but I really like the image. Judging by the comments and scores from commentators, so did some others, but there were also a huge number of voters who didn't.

Thanks a bunch!

I'm doing a happy dance, because I scored high enough to NOT be in the range this week. Usually I'm first in line for the Doc's comments. Thanks for the help you've given me so far!

6.28! I'd certainly say you did. Now, get out of here! I never want to have to comment on another shot of your's again! :)

I'll get to those last two later today and then close shop for the week.
