So i made a gif file for the interenet.
here is the tutorial i followed

however, as soon as i uploaded it onto my SMUGMUG, it didn't work.
I tried to use IMAGE SHACK, and it just turned out to be a standing still image
my image says .gif at the end
i dont know what else to do
does anyone know how to do this?

If you load the gif straight into IE (or Firefox, whatever) from your Hard Drive is it animated?

At Smugmug, GIF files are not animated at the thumbnail level. They are only animated when viewed at their original size.
If you've customized the gallery to turn off originals, you won't ever be able to see the animation. Could this be your issue? Also, there are mb bandwidth limits depending on your type of account. Standard and power users get 8mb, Pro's get 16; everyone is limited to 48 megapixels.
